Each sign is made in a standard 23" diameter size, and includes a first name cut from natural cork and sealed with clear coat , and optional middle name painted white, all 1/4" in height. A standard tall block font is used for the first name, and a standard script font is used for the middle name. The 1/2" base is carved with botanical artwork, and painted moss green. The result is a dramatic yet delicate 3D effect.

Finally, keyhole hanger hardware is recessed within the top center of the sign back. This ensures EASY MOUNTING with PERFECT ALIGNMENT every time. The sign sits flush with the mounting surface, with only a single screw or nail required for hanging. Keyhole mounts also minimize the chance of a sign falling, making this one of the SAFEST hanging options, especially considering the sign may be mounted about a crib.

HOW IT'S MADE

Each sign starts with quality furniture-grade plywood, precision cut perfectly round with rounded over edges to prevent splintering or injury when handling.  The base is then sanded and stained golden pecan.

For the name, a standard block font is used for the first name, and standard scripted font is used for the middle name.   The lettering for the first name is laser cut from 1/4" cork.  The lettering for the middle name is cut from mdf wood and hand painted.  Before final application to the wood base, these layered onlays are protected with a clear coat.  The final result is a dramatic yet delicate 3D effect.

Finally, keyhole hanger hardware is recessed within the top center of the sign back.  This ensures easy, perfect alignment every time, flush with the mounting surface, with only a single screw or nail required for hanging.  Keyhole mounts also minimize the chance of a sign falling, making this one of the safest hanging options, especially considering the sign may be mounted above a crib.
