Little Free Library | Two Story Lean-To Rear

DESCRIPTION

ATMN Woodworks proudly offers our custom-designed Little Free Library for community book sharing!  This premium library model features a two-story design for greater book storage capacity, accentuated with farmhouse modern shiplap panel siding, sleek inset door with plexiglass window, and lean-to roof architecture with staggered shake shingles.  

The overall dimensions of the library are ~23" H x 16"W x 14"D.  The interior boasts both a lower and upper shelf, with the option of incorporating a vertical divider to accommodate extra large and odd-shaped children's books.   At night, the interior of the library is automatically illuminated with the optional embedded LED light strip, powered by a single small solar panel fixed to the exterior rear wall.   This lighting kit has an IP67 water resistance rating, and with the included remote, offers 8 modes and 3 levels of brightness.   When fully charged (5 hours of sunlight), this kit provides 10 hours of lighting.

Both the roof shingles and the included 4x4 mounting post are constructed from cedar wood, renown for it's natural beauty as well as exceptional weather, insect, and decay resistance in outdoor applications.

Further enhancing the library's resistance to moisture, UV and pests, the main housing of the library is constructed with a combination of exterior-grade treated engineered wood and cellular pvc trim board.  All interior joints are sealed with silicone to prevent water intrusion.   And to insure maximum durability and longevity, we utilize only corrosion-resistant fasteners and door hardware.

The only thing better than a thoughtfully-designed, low-maintenance community library is a personalized one!  Each library purchase includes a FREE glass door laser engraving with a design of your choosing!!

• Overall dimensions of the library are ~23" H x 16"W x 14"D.  See product photos for further measurements.   Library weighs 30 lbs, not including post and post mounting hardware.
• EASY INSTALLATION:  With the optional predrilled 4x4 post, post topper, and galvanized steel post screw anchor with fastener hardware, no-dig installation is a breeze.  However if desired, the post w/ topper only may be ordered, for installing in the ground using concrete.  
• Door is pre-assembled and attached to housing with flush mount hinges, door knob, and sliding door latch, includes 1/4" plexiglass window.
• DURABLE: Constructed with materials for negligible water absorption to resist rot, decay, and warping.   Also resists mold, mildew, corrosion, UV and pests.
• Easy to clean and maintain using mild soap and water.
• Engineered wood paneling embossed with wood-grain texture for aesthetic appeal, does not look like plastic!  
• FREE LASER ENGRAVING, see product photos for sample design rendering!!  Please include text and/or link to graphic file to be engraved in the "Special Instructions" box when checking out.  If no instructions are provided, library door window will not include any personalized engraving.
• Optional Vertical divider for tall books, please specify if desired using the "Special Instructions" box when checking out.
• Comes primed (white) and ready to paint.  For an additional fee, we will paint your library with a maximum of 2 colors (closest match), using exterior acrylic paint.  Please specify paint color(s) in "Special Instructions" box when checking out.

PROCESSING

Each library is made to order.  Please allow 1-2 weeks processing from date of purchase. 

Currently only available for local delivery or pickup.   Free delivery within Orange County and surrounding area, including San Diego County.  Library delivered fully assembled, separate from optional post base w/ topper.  Customer responsible for installation of the little library, all necessary hardware included for no-dig screw-in installation.
