Introducing the Hyperloop Long board, a longer version of our most stylish silhouette yet featuring clean, bold lines and a looped handle that just doesn't quit. It's handcrafted using premium hardwood and accentuated further with a crisp clean engraving design of your choice. Elevate your cheese and charcuterie presentation and create an experience your guests won't soon forget!
The Hyperloop Long Board also makes a great personal gift, or even a promotional gift for your customer. Engrave their name on the front, and your business logo on the back (replaces our ATMN maker's mark, requires bulk order, please email us). HOW IT'S MADE
Each board starts with a solid piece of premium hardwood - your choice of walnut or maple. When sourcing our hardwood, we look for specimens with amazing character and figuring in the grain pattern. The looped board handle is precision sculpted using our design template, with rounded over edges to fit comfortably in your hand. The result is a sleek, yet deceivingly sturdy handle design.
The next step is sanding, which is a meticulous and labor intensive process. Multiple passes are performed, with a water treatment between passes to 'pop the grain'. This ensures that the finish will remain glass-smooth, even after subsequent exposure to moisture. No shortcuts here, just good ole fashioned sanding till your arms fall off.
Once sanded, the board is ready to be personalized with a FREE laser engraving. Please be sure to select one of our standard design options and placement, along with the text or graphic to engrave. At additional cost, we can engrave any custom graphic design you provide!
After engraving, the final step is wood conditioning. This thirsty piece of walnut is treated to a luxurious food-grade mineral oil bath, followed by an application of blended mineral oil and beeswax. This process rejuvenates the wood, helps prevent drying and cracking, and protects the board by keeping the mineral oil in and the moisture out.
