Custom-built and installed 54" floating fireplace mantel with concealed heavy-duty mounting brackets.   Given it's light wood tone, no-nonsense straight face grain pattern, and overall modern aesthetic, this Oak floating shelf system is functional decor that compliments and creates visual interest in nearly any living space.

Overall dimension is 54 1/8"L x 2 1/2″H  x 4″D. 

*Note: 1/8" added to length to ensure mantel will extend slightly beyond, and conceal, edge of fireplace tiling +tiling trim.

FEATURES

+ Box beam style construction to minimize weight and reduce cost.  

+ Constructed from solid Oak and Oak-veneered engineered wood.

+ Construction includes ledger board with supporting braces, to be fastened to wall.  Shelving slides onto ledge board and fastened from top with wood screws.  In typical scenarios where the bracket is mounted to sheetrock over studs, the shelf can support a weight of 40 lbs. per stud they are attached to.    The end result is a completely hidden, flush mount for a TRUE floating effect.

+ This item is artisan-crafted with meticulous care.  Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in wood grain pattern and imperfections in the wood are to be expected and celebrated.  Each shelf is an original and no two are exactly alike.

+ Sealed and protected with furniture grade finish with a Satin sheen ( just above flat).
