DESCRIPTION

Our most compact offering yet, the Get-a-Grip Board is a pretty dang versatile piece of kitchen/restaurant kit. Great for serving appetizers, sandwiches, and can even be used as a cutting board.  Also great for RVs and conversion van kitchens where space is limited.   Handcrafted using premium hardwood and personalized with a crisp clean engraving design of your choice.  Elevate your presentation and create an experience your guests won't soon forget! 

The Get-a-Grip Board also makes a great personal gift, or even a promotional gift for your customers.   Engrave their name on the front, and your business logo on the back (replaces our ATMN maker's mark, requires bulk order, please email us).  Make your client feel appreciated with a truly unique board, that's not only personalized, but also reminds them of the service and value you deliver. 

HOW IT'S MADE

Each board starts with a solid piece of premium black walnut.  When sourcing our hardwood, we look for specimens with amazing character and figuring in the grain pattern.  In this design, we've nixed the typical handle, and instead inset a nice clean 3 inch wide triangle grip with rounded over edges to fit comfortably in your hand.  If a more unique and rustic aesthetic is desired, we offer a hand-worked contoured edge option that accentuates the existing grain pattern.  This option truly showcases our craftsmanship.  

The next step is sanding, which is a meticulous and relatively labor intensive process.  Multiple passes are performed, with a water treatment between passes to 'pop the grain'.  This ensures that the finish will remain glass-smooth, even after subsequent exposure to moisture.  

Once sanded, the board is ready to be personalized with a FREE frontside laser engraving.  Please be sure to select a design option and placement, along with the text or graphic to engrave.  Every board is also branded with the ATMN maker's mark on the backside, or for an additional fee, can be replaced with a graphic logo of your choice.

After engraving, the final step is wood conditioning. This thirsty piece of walnut is treated to a luxurious food-grade mineral oil bath, followed by an application of blended mineral oil and beeswax. This process rejuvenates the wood, helps prevent drying and cracking, and protects the board by keeping the mineral oil in and the moisture out.

• Sealed and protected with 100% food grade mineral oil and beeswax blend.
• Do not use dishwasher, hand wash only.  For continued protection, apply ATMN Board Butter wood condition after every few washings.
